NDIS Order Information

At The Bento Buzz, we’re proud to support NDIS participants by offering products that can be funded through eligible NDIS plans. Whether you're self managed or plan managed, we're here to make the process easy and stress-free.

We offer two simple ways for NDIS participants to access our products:

  1. Self-Managed:
    Purchase directly and use the tax invoice we provide to submit to the NDIA for reimbursement.

  2. Plan-Managed:
    Provide us with your plan manager’s details at checkout and a customer service representative will contact them directly on your behalf with an invoice for direct payment.

To make a plan managed order; simply place your order through the standard process and upon checkout, select the NDIS Plan Managed payment selection.

For this option, all NDIA information will need to be entered before completion including Participants Name, NDIS Participant number, Plan Managers Name & email. Please note: the order must be made in the NDIS participants own name to be valid and considered for approval by the plan manager.

Once payment has been received, the order will be dispatched via your chosen shipping selection.

Please allow 5-7 business days for payment to be received and an additional 3-5 business days for dispatch.

NDIS Processing Days: Monday–Thursday

Orders received after Thursday will be processed the following Monday.

Please note:

  • Before placing your order, we kindly ask that you check your NDIS plan to confirm that the necessary funds for consumables are available.

  • As we are not NDIS registered, we are unable to bill agency-managed (NDIA-managed) plans at this time.

  • We are not responsible for any decisions made by your plan manager regarding the approval or payment of NDIS-related purchases.

  • If a particular item of an NDIS order is declined, the item will be removed and the remainder of the order will be processed.

NDIS Purchases In Store

We welcome NDIS purchases in person at our Ashmore, Gold Coast store. Items selected will be held until NDIS payment has been received, then a collection email will be sent to pickup. Please ensure you bring all NDIS participant information with you, and a team member in store will assist. 

The Bento Buzz has quiet hours in store for a low-sensory shopping experience. Quiet hours are Thursdays 9am-10am and Sundays 10am-11am.
