What is Recycled PET (RPET)
RPET is a polyester fabric made from recycled plastic water bottles. The process includes washing and sterilising the bottles, breaking them down into tiny flakes and then spinning into yarn. The yarn is then woven into a recycled polyester fabric.
RPET is easy to recycle. PET is distinguished by #1 recycling label and is accepted by most recycling programs.
RPET is a sustainable option over creating new textiles.
